The Prostate Protocol: An Honest Review (And Why You NEED This Book)

My father often used to say to me, "son, the most worthwhile things in life are never easy." And I knew what he meant: if the right choices were always the easy ones, we'd make a whole lot more of them.

This book, "The Prostate Protocol," by Scott Davis presents some life-changing choices.

Be prepared for a bit of a read.

I wish I could say that you'll be able to understand all of this in 15 minutes. But that wouldn't be a fair statement.

There is a lot to process in this book, if you want an honest perspective here.

But there was a wise old Geman fellow I used to know who said, "the Germans have a saying: worthwhile ideas are not always simple."

I don't want to scare you off, though.

This book is worth the time it takes to read it. It really is.

Here's the thing.

We live in a world of instant gratification: instant coffee, instant oatmeal, instant results on everything. But the only reason we have those things is because someone else already put a lot of work into making those things so that we don't have to.

This book is going to make you realize that you might need more than a pill (or two or three a day) to fix this problem of your walnut-sized prostate that has somehow become the size of a lemon.

Knowing why your prostate got the way it did might be the very thing you need to understand in order to make it happy again.

But it can be happy.

As the author, Scott Davis says in the introduction,

Through the course of this book, I would like to show you how nature works and how we are not separate from it. Only once that has been understood is true healing made possible.

He's right. As Scott says, "modern medicine, like much of society, is built upon its own warts."

Here's the premise of the book. And if you're on this site, this probably won't come as a surprise to you. In fact, I suspect it's the reason you're here.

From what I see in this book, we get used to western medicine and its way of treating symptoms with pills instead of treating root causes with proper nutrition.

Ever heard of "inflammation?" This guy explains what it is, specifically with regard to your prostate.

And you need to understand this. Because many of us have heard the term before.

But not everyone who talks about inflammation knows what it is, let alone be able to explain it to someone else.

This guy can explain it to you.

In short, inflammation is your body's "emergency response" to a crisis.

If you cut your finger, white blood cells rush in to attack bacterial intruders. Your body provides nutrients to heal the wound.

That acute, localized inflammation is your body’s way of dealing with a crisis.

But now, chronic inflammation is something that happens at the cell level - like when an oyster gets irritated by a grain of sand inside. In that case, it creates a pearl.

But your body, on a cellular level, reacts to chronic irritation to the cells in your body.

These irritations come from stress and the hormones that stress brings; from diet and your body's reaction to the poisons from the foods you eat.

This guy gets that. And he explains it well. And he explains what you need to do to fix the damage that has happened long-term.

Because, "you are what you eat."

Don't get me wrong. I believe in prostate supplements. I promote them on this site. But sometimes, you need more than that.

We are natural beings living in an "instant, synthetic society." Much of western medicine sees mankind as "apart from nature," rather than one with it.

You probably get that. It's why you search for "best natural supplements for prostate health," or "best herbal supplements for sexual health." It's why you're here.

But supplements should be just that: supplements.

Your body needs whole foods. And your whole body needs those whole foods.

Like my father said, nothing worthwhile is ever easy.

Now, don't expect a death sentence on your diet or anything. The changes this book recommends are mostly temporary to deal with the crisis until you have it “under control.”

But you need to know your prostate and the reason it got to be the way it is.

And this book gives you that understanding.

The Prostate Protocol: You NEED This Book

Be prepared to look at your prostate from the inside out. And let this book turn your thinking inside out.

Like this little nugget:

Much of the medical research currently being carried out is reflective of the way modern living has impacted on our ability to function. Through building upon our warts, we have neglected the true chemical wealth that lies before us in the form of the wholesome principles of nature.
Instead of taking a pill that contains one or two substances in unnaturally high doses in order to treat one specific symptom, nature offers us a variety of whole foods that contain hundreds, if not thousands of compounds which group together in a balanced formula to correct constellations of symptoms – a.k.a. disease.

Here is a rundown of what he covers in the book.

Keep in mind, this is obviously not an exhaustive list of the topics in this thing. I would be doing the author a serious disservice if I were to spell it all out here.

Quite honestly, this author deserves to be paid for the service of likely giving you your life back.

But here are some of the points covered in this book:

  • Describing Prostate Anatomy at the Cellular Level - you need to understand WHY you need to follow what he spells out here for restoring your prostate
  • Inflammation - what it is, how it affects your prostate, and what you can do to undo what you've done over the years with lifestyle and diet
  • Lifestyle interventions - exercise, "sleep hygiene," healthy levels of sunshine and stress management (and why they're JUST AS IMPORTANT as the foods we eat)
  • What you need to cut out - things that have to go in your diet and in your lifestyle (if you have a serious problem and you want to deal with it seriously)
  • What you should cut down on some - because some things are really not that bad (in moderation)
  • Practical approaches to proper dosages of the right vitamins and minerals - because you can get "too much of a good thing." Knowing what these amounts are is crucial: overdoing it can cause problems as much as underdoing it.

You don't have to read this book front to back. It's best in chunks and he points you to the most crucial stuff in a very clear fashion

Look. I believe in supplements as much as the next guy. I promote them on this site because I know the average modern diet is lacking.

But you NEED this book to understand how your prostate feels about how you're treating it.

Actually, you're treating your whole body in a way that could benefit as a whole from this book.

Anything in this book that is good for your prostate is going to be good for the rest of you, too.

This book is about aiming toward a health "lifestyle makeover."

But every journey begins with a single step. And if you get this book, you might be shocked at the energy, vitality and vibrancy you feel all over (not to mention the benefits in libido, if you're into that....).

Do yourself a favor. Buy this book.

It comes with a money-back guarantee. You'll be glad you did.

I'm glad I did. I take supplements, and they helped me. But THIS is help at a whole other level.
